Brick repointing is one of the most important maintenance services for any brick building. Mortar joints deteriorate over time — exposed to Melbourne's rain, UV, and temperature cycling — and when they fail, water enters the wall. What Is Repointing?

Repointing involves raking out the old, deteriorated mortar from the joints between bricks (typically to a depth of 15–20mm) and pressing in fresh mortar mixed to the correct specification for the wall. Done correctly, it seals the wall against water entry and dramatically extends the life of the brickwork.
